Senior Lauren Soobrian and sophomore sister Emily Soobrian, both representing Los Altos High, finished first and fifth in the 2.78-mile girls varsity No. 2 race at the San Francisco Lowell Invitational at Golden Gate Park in California. Lauren Soobrian prevailed in 15:56.6 and Emily Soobrian ran 16:10.0 to help Los Altos secure a 43-74 victory over Menlo-Atherton.
